KPV is the lysine-proline-valine tripeptide from the tail of alpha-MSH. It keeps the hormone's anti-inflammatory activity without pigmentation effects, acting inside cells to calm NF-kB signalling.

Ships as one factory-sealed kit of ten individually capped vials from our specialty, immune & pigmentation collection, cold-chain packed with written order confirmation. Need the other size? Flip the toggle above.

About KPV 10mg

KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide fragment (lysine-proline-valine) of alpha-MSH. It carries the anti-inflammatory activity of the parent hormone without the pigmentation or arousal effects, acting intracellularly to suppress NF-kB and pro-inflammatory cytokine signalling.

Gastrointestinal research is the most developed application, where oral delivery targets colonic inflammation directly; dermal and wound models are also common.

Available as a single vial or a factory-sealed kit of ten individually capped vials. Every order is packed cold with a written order confirmation and batch reference, so each vial can be traced back to its certificate of analysis.

Reported benefits in research

  • Potent anti-inflammatory action via NF-kB suppression
  • No pigmentation or arousal effects, unlike full alpha-MSH
  • Studied in gastrointestinal inflammation and barrier-integrity models
  • Antimicrobial and wound-healing endpoints

How to use it

  1. Allow the sealed vial to reach room temperature before opening; do not open a vial that is still cold.
  2. Wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol prep pad and let it dry.
  3. Draw the diluent volume called for in your protocol (bacteriostatic water for nearly all peptides, including GHK-Cu; dilute acetic acid water only for sequences that need a low pH, such as IGF-1 LR3) and inject it slowly against the inner glass wall of the vial.
  4. Swirl gently until fully clear — never shake, as agitation can fracture the peptide chain.
  5. Studied as a daily dose — oral or subcutaneous depending on the target tissue — across two-to-six-week blocks.
  6. Label the vial with the compound, concentration, and reconstitution date, then return it to refrigeration between uses.

What it’s studied for

  • Gut and colonic inflammation models
  • Skin and wound inflammation
  • Cytokine signalling

Recommended protocol

Commonly studied as a once- or twice-daily dose over several weeks; oral and injectable routes both appear in the literature.

Storage & handling

Store lyophilized vials refrigerated (2–8°C) and protected from light. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, keep refrigerated and use within the window cited in your research protocol.
