About Bacteriostatic Water 10mL

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The preservative inhibits bacterial growth, which is what allows a reconstituted vial to be entered repeatedly across a multi-dose research protocol rather than being discarded after one use.

It is the default diluent for the great majority of lyophilized research peptides.

Available as a single vial or a factory-sealed kit of ten individually capped vials. Every order is packed cold with a written order confirmation and batch reference, so each vial can be traced back to its certificate of analysis.

How to use it

  1. Wipe both vial stoppers with alcohol and let them dry.
  2. Draw the diluent volume your concentration calls for — more water means a lower concentration per unit of volume.
  3. Inject it slowly down the inner glass wall of the peptide vial; never spray it directly onto the powder.
  4. Swirl gently until clear — never shake.
  5. Label the vial with compound, concentration, and reconstitution date, and keep refrigerated between uses.
