About Acetic Acid Water

Acetic acid water is a sterile dilute acetic-acid solution used as a reconstitution diluent for peptides that dissolve poorly in neutral water — IGF-1 LR3 is the best-known example, along with several hydrophobic sequences.

Lowering the pH of the solution keeps these peptides in solution and stable, preventing the cloudiness or visible particulate that neutral diluents can produce.

Available as a single vial or a factory-sealed kit of ten individually capped vials. Every order is packed cold with a written order confirmation and batch reference, so each vial can be traced back to its certificate of analysis.

Reported benefits in research

  • Dissolves copper and hydrophobic peptides that resist neutral water
  • Keeps difficult peptides stable and clear in solution
  • Sterile filtered and sealed for laboratory use

How to use it

  1. Wipe both vial stoppers with alcohol and let them dry.
  2. Draw the volume your protocol specifies and inject it slowly down the inner wall of the peptide vial.
  3. Swirl gently until fully clear; if particulate remains, allow a few minutes at room temperature before swirling again.
  4. Label with compound, concentration, and date, then refrigerate.

What it’s studied for

  • Reconstituting low-solubility peptides
  • Laboratory preparation workflows

Recommended protocol

Use the minimum volume needed to fully dissolve the lyophilized powder, then dilute further with bacteriostatic water to the target working concentration.

Storage & handling

Store at room temperature away from light. Handle with standard laboratory precautions.

All products are sold for laboratory and research use only. Protocol information is a summary of commonly referenced research designs and is not medical advice, a prescription, or a recommendation for human consumption.
