About IGF-1 LR3 1mg
IGF-1 LR3 (Long R3 IGF-1) is a modified form of insulin-like growth factor 1, the hormone that carries out most of growth hormone's effects on tissue. An arginine substitution at position 3 and a 13-amino-acid extension stop it binding to IGF-binding proteins, so it stays active far longer — a half-life of roughly 20–30 hours versus minutes for native IGF-1.
It acts directly on the IGF-1 receptor rather than through the pituitary, and is studied for muscle-cell growth (hyperplasia and hypertrophy), nutrient uptake and recovery. It is far more potent per microgram than most peptides on this site, so research doses are measured in micrograms.

How to use it
- Allow the sealed vial to reach room temperature before opening; do not open a vial that is still cold.
- Wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol prep pad and let it dry.
- Draw the diluent volume called for in your protocol (bacteriostatic water for nearly all peptides, including GHK-Cu; dilute acetic acid water only for sequences that need a low pH, such as IGF-1 LR3) and inject it slowly against the inner glass wall of the vial.
- Swirl gently until fully clear — never shake, as agitation can fracture the peptide chain.
- IGF-1 LR3 is reconstituted with dilute acetic acid water rather than bacteriostatic water for best stability. Research doses are in micrograms, and protocols typically run in short cycles with monitoring of blood glucose, since IGF-1 lowers it.
- Label the vial with the compound, concentration, and reconstitution date, then return it to refrigeration between uses.
