About SS-31 50mg
SS-31 (elamipretide) is a mitochondria-targeted tetrapeptide that binds cardiolipin, a phospholipid unique to the inner mitochondrial membrane. By stabilizing cardiolipin it restores membrane architecture, improves electron-transport efficiency, and cuts the leakage of reactive oxygen species at the source.
This makes it distinct from conventional antioxidants, which neutralize free radicals after they form. SS-31 is studied in models of mitochondrial dysfunction affecting muscle, heart, kidney, and neural tissue.

How to use it
- Allow the sealed vial to reach room temperature before opening; do not open a vial that is still cold.
- Wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol prep pad and let it dry.
- Draw the diluent volume called for in your protocol (bacteriostatic water for nearly all peptides, including GHK-Cu; dilute acetic acid water only for sequences that need a low pH, such as IGF-1 LR3) and inject it slowly against the inner glass wall of the vial.
- Swirl gently until fully clear — never shake, as agitation can fracture the peptide chain.
- Commonly studied as a daily dose over defined four-to-eight-week courses rather than continuously, with rest periods between courses.
- Label the vial with the compound, concentration, and reconstitution date, then return it to refrigeration between uses.
